SPINAL MUSCULAR ATROPHY

Maddison Brown from 6AL organised a fundraiser for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.  SMA is a genetic disorder limiting mobility, amongst many other complications. Maddison organised a guessing competition, for parents, teachers and students. Maddison managed to raise $1060.00

On Monday 15th October, Helena Young (OT for Shannon and Kaitlyn Anlezark) accepted the cheque on behalf of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

A special thank you to the outstanding job Madisson Brown did organising and running this competition. We would like to express our appreciation for a job well done.

Congratulations to Ardhen, Ari, George, Isaiah, Katherine, Om, Pia, Sachi and Shrineel who displayed outstanding teamwork, determination and perseverance while tackling challenging mathematical problems, puzzles and riddles. Students described the day as intense, exciting and fun! A special thank you to Miss Lumagbas for accompanying our students, and to our wonderful parents for their support with transport. We are so proud of our teams!
