On Monday 15th August, the Year 6 Students presented a prepared 3-4 minute speech on a topic or issue they felt strongly about and presented it to an audience. The students were judged on their preparation, speech delivery, voice, confidence, posture and gesture.
Congratulations to Victoria Carr, Daniella Ostojic and Sophia Santos who were chosen to compete at the next level, the Cluster Final, which will also include students from Our Lady of Mt Carmel, Wentworthville, and students from St Anthony’s, Girraween (Thursday, 18 August at 10:00 am in St Paul’s Hall).
From the cluster final only one student is chosen to represent the Eastern Region of the competition (Tuesday, 6 September at St Paul’s Hall 10:00 am-11:00 am).

The Assumption of Mary is a Catholic doctrine of faith stating that Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was assumed (taken up) body and soul into Heaven at the end of her life. Year 2’s Adventure at Lizard Log! 🦎🌿 Our Year 2 students had an absolute blast yesterday on their excursion to Lizard Log parklands. Our young explorers spent the day rotating through four action-packed activities: investigating animal habitats, crafting bird houses, hunting for critters during bug catching, and learning how to protect our waterways in Water Works—where they discovered how everyday things like dish soap, paint, and sunscreen affect our environment when sent down the drain. It was a day filled with huge smiles, curious minds, and practical ways to care for our planet. Here are some photos from our fun day out!
