On Tuesday 17th March Kaitlyn and Shannon Anlezark met Mr Peter Debnam the former Australian politician for Vaucluse and Mr David Elliott member for the Baulkham Hills Liberal Party.
They presented the children with a cheque for $5000.00 for Muscular Dystrophy of NSW. It was a great experience for the family. Kaitlyn and Shannon even got to sit on the Premier's chair.

Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the “Christine Howe STEM Academic Scholarship”, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Students enrolling in Year 7 from 2026 are eligible to apply for the scholarship, which reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to excellence in learning within a supportive Catholic community.

Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary Greystanes, recently welcomed a visit from Dr Hugh McDermott, State Member for Prospect. The school was awarded a $60,000 Community Building Partnerships grant, and Dr McDermott presented the school with a ceremonial cheque. During his visit, Dr McDermott spent time with some of our students and, alongside Fr. Paul Roberts, OLQP Parish Priest, delivered an engaging talk about the three levels of government and his own personal connection to the Greystanes community. The grant will make a significant contribution toward the construction of a large shade structure over the school playground. The school looks forward to seeing the new shade structure fully installed upon returning from the October school holidays.
