Students from Year 3 and 4 played against many schools from the Parramatta diocese.
They represented OLQP well, demonstrating team work, respect for others and great sportsmanship. Both the boys and girls teams worked very hard and were proud of their efforts.
The boys won in their pool by a very small margin, while the girls tied for first place. The teachers, Miss Bugge and Miss Dolan were very impressed by the exceptional behavior on and off the field during the day, and were very proud to hand out medals to all OLQP children.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our school leaders and their families for attending the Dawn Service at Merrylands RSL this morning on behalf of the OLQP community. It was incredibly moving to see so many of our students and families there as well, united in honouring the spirit of ANZAC Day. Lest we forget.
