The Under 10As team, who are one of the top sixteen teams in the state for their age group, played three round robin matches of 10 min halves against teams from Manly, Cronulla and Gerringong. Our OLQP Bulldog team won one of the three games and unfortunately missed out on going through to the quarter finals.
Our team followed the Code of Conduct on the day, showing positive acts of sportsmanship and demonstrating the greatest level of respect to all those involved on the day.
A big thank you to Mr Hopley for giving these students the opportunity to take part in this event. A big thank you to Michael Barden for organising the day. Finally to all the parents and families and Miss Westbrook for their ongoing support throughout this year’s carnivals.

On Friday, we joyfully celebrated Mother’s Day with a beautiful liturgy, followed by a picnic shared among mothers and their children. It was a special time of prayer, fellowship, and gratitude for the gift of motherhood. As mothers, we are inspired by the example of The Virgin Mary — a model of faith, love, humility, and unwavering devotion. Through her gentle strength and trust in God, Mary reminds us of the sacred vocation of motherhood and the powerful role mothers play in nurturing their families with compassion and grace. We hope all mothers had a wonderful and blessed Mother’s Day yesterday, surrounded by love, joy, and appreciation for all that they do each day.11 May 2026
