SPINAL MUSCULAR ATROPHY
Maddison Brown from 6AL organised a fundraiser for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. SMA is a genetic disorder limiting mobility, amongst many other complications. Maddison organised a guessing competition, for parents, teachers and students. Maddison managed to raise $1060.00
On Monday 15th October, Helena Young (OT for Shannon and Kaitlyn Anlezark) accepted the cheque on behalf of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
A special thank you to the outstanding job Madisson Brown did organising and running this competition. We would like to express our appreciation for a job well done.

Year 1 have designed and created their favourite food from clay and placed it in a clay bowl or plate. From gnocchi to noodles and nuggets, and sambousek to sushi, favourite fruit and vegetables, students have had fun experimenting with clay and creating their prized sculptures. Next, students will paint their clay to make it more realistic! A great time was had by all!
