700+ Unite for Project Compassion Big Water Walk
More than 700 students and staff from 23 schools across Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) came together for Caritas Australia’s Big Water Walk in support of Project Compassion. Beginning at Parramatta Park, students carried buckets of water along a 4km route, gaining a glimpse of the daily journey faced by people in developing communities, especially women and children, in search of clean water.

Today we celebrate the feast of Saint Patrick. As a missionary and bishop, Saint Patrick dedicated his life to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the people of Ireland. His courage, faith, and trust in God remind us that even one person, guided by the Holy Spirit, can help bring light and hope to many. May we be inspired by Saint Patrick’s example to live our faith with joy, kindness, and courage in our own community. “Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me.” Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to all in our school community. ☘️

💙 Thank You OLOP Families! 💙 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the OLOP Family Back-to-School Social at Chipmunks Prospect! 🎉 It was wonderful seeing so many families come together, the kids making new friends, and everyone enjoying a fun evening of play and connection. We would like to sincerely thank our wonderful FIAT team for their generosity in creating and donating the beautiful Easter baskets that will be raffled off next week. As part of our Project Compassion Initiative, our FIAT leaders will be running an Easter Raffle for all OLQP students next week (wk 8). This initiative is to help raise funds for those who are less fortunate than us. Tickets will be on sale every morning from 8:25am-8:45am on Area A. Our school leaders will also be available in the Kindy Learning Street for our Kindy students to purchase tickets. Ticket prices are $2 per ticket or $10 for 6. Your support through Project Compassion will help transform lives by bringing clean water, education, healthcare and opportunities to communities facing poverty and injustice.
