Students from Year 3 and 4 played against many schools from the Parramatta diocese.

They represented OLQP well, demonstrating team work, respect for others and great sportsmanship. Both the boys and girls teams worked very hard and were proud of their efforts.

The boys won in their pool by a very small margin, while the girls tied for first place. The teachers, Miss Bugge and Miss Dolan were very impressed by the exceptional behavior on and off the field during the day, and were very proud to hand out medals to all OLQP children.

The season of Lent invites us to pause and reflect on the values that deepen our compassion and strengthen our shared responsibility for one another. It is a time for reflection that creates space for growth, humility that grounds us in our common humanity, self-discipline that draws us back to what truly matters, and generosity expressed through acts of compassion and kindness.

Thank you to the Parramatta Eels for visiting OLQP and speaking with our students about wellbeing. Your insights into physical and mental wellbeing were greatly valued. It was a meaningful and enriching opportunity for our school community.
